Yasmin Sultana

Founder & Executive Director

Yasmin Sultana is an accomplished academic with a deep passion for interdisciplinary studies and global collaboration. With a career spanning over two decades in research and education, she recognized a growing need for a platform that could bridge the gaps between different academic fields and connect scholars from diverse backgrounds.

Driven by this vision, she established Zonakee as a non-profit, service-oriented network dedicated to breaking down traditional academic silos. Her goal was to create a vibrant community where researchers could not only share their work but also find support, mentorship, and opportunities for meaningful collaboration. She believes that by working together, the academic community can more effectively address the world's most pressing challenges.

"Knowledge thrives not in isolation, but in connection. Our mission is to build the bridges that allow ideas to flow freely across disciplines and continents, creating a stronger, more collaborative future for all of us."

As the Executive Director, she provides strategic leadership for Zonakee, overseeing its research initiatives, publications, and global events. She remains deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all members of the Zonakee network.
